ABOUT THE FESTIVAL | SEMINAR EDUCATORS | SPONSORS
Created in 2008 by William Merritt of Merritt Estate Winery, the America's Grape Country Wine Festival has bloomed into a wine industry cornerstone in Western New York.
Dozens of wineries from across New York State travel to the area to sample and sell their best-selling wines to consumers from the tri-state, twin-tier region. Joined by artisan food producers, handmade craft vendors and several sponsors, the wineries proudly display their products that (in many cases) have spent decades in the making!
The festival was first held in 2008. Thousands of visitors have attended through 2010 and thousands were pleased! New to the festival in 2011 was a concert in the grandstands of the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds featuring Sean Patrick McGraw and Uncle Kracker!
The event has grown significantly the past four years and will continue to do so in the future! A new concert is being planned for 2012 along with the introduction of cooking demonstrations into the wine seminars!
Guests at the event can enjoy wine tastings with all of our wineries, artisan food samples from our various vendors inside and dozens of wine accessories and related items! Live music fills the air all weekend outdoors and inside Floral Hall.
We look forward to having you at our event!
