11:30am - 12:30pm - Wine & Cheese from the Empire State - Delight your taste buds as you learn about New York’s two leading agricultural sectors—dairy and grapes! Learn to pair wine and cheese like a pro as you sample 3 NYS wines paired with 3 gourmet, artisan NY cheeses from Yancey’s Fancy. The class will be led by New York Wine & Culinary Center’s Certified Wine Educator Cheryl Pitti.
1:00pm - Sensory Perception seminar presented by Nancy Tisch of Bet The Farm. Focusing on how sense of smell, taste, and tectile senses interplay to make up one’s favorite wines.

3:00pm -4:00pm - Heirloom Grape Varieties of New York - Western New York is home to several heirloom grape varieties that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. In this informative and fun class, you will learn to taste the difference between European wines (such as Chardonnay) and New York’s native varieties (such as Ives and Delaware). Each style of wine has a unique flavor and many ways to be enjoyed. The class will be led by New York Wine & Culinary Center’s Certified Wine Educator Cheryl Pitti.
